Okay, I need advice, read below.

Okay, so I have a friend that is being "bullied." (I don't know if it is technically bullying), well, there is a girl (not naming names!) who gives her a hard time in science class. She tells me that whenever she is answering questions, the girl looks at her worksheet and looks over my friend's answers. She tells me that this girl wants to be smarter than her because my friend is actually pretty smart! (Smarter than me (;) And she says "That question is wrong and so is that one." It bothers her and she asked me to give her advice but I don't know what to say!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And she tried to stand up to her, but she is really shy (but smart!), so she couldn't do it. And she said that not all the time she is mean, she said that sometimes my friend hold the door or something like that for her, she says "Thank you," but gives her a nasty look, and sometimes she just gives her the evil look, and ignores her. Like I said she doesn't know what to do, so I wanted her to see the good answers of my friends of ask.com. THIS IS NOT ME BY THE WAYS I PROMISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I have stood up for her before, but it barley helps at all! She just walks away

Just tell your friend to ignore her.

(This isn't a hate comment i'm just stating) Ignoring a bully, doesn't make it stop, i was bullied from 3rd-6th grade and i ignored them and that got me no where. And it was like 100x harder then this o_o.

I got bullied in elementary , but I ignored them I guess it depends on the bully .

Tell her to ask the teacher if she would be allowed to move her seat and if that doesnt work try your guidance councilor if you have one

Tell somebody about her. Don't just ignore it if its really hurting your friend. But first tell the bully to please stop and let your friend be, or if she doesn't stop then tell somebody. It's not like she's going to beat u up.

She's probably just jealous of her, and I wouldn't count this as bullying the other girl clearly just wants to be like your friend and is jealous, simply ask if she can move seats (your friend) or if the teacher can do something about this.

Ok. To start, talk to a guidance counselor. If you do not want to do that you can stand up to the girl for your friend. The science teacher is bound to see this so you can go to him/her if needed. I have experienced this multiple times myself. The best thing to do is go to an adult. If the kid gets in trouble they will know not to make fun of you for going to an adult or else they will get punished again. Go to a teacher or you could just ignore her for a while, the bully will get over it. Have your friend become a less easy target to get to.

Tell her friend to tell the teacher to report for bullying so that no named girl will get into trouble

The teacher should be noticing this, if not then immediately after she gives her the 'evil look' scream (or call out) "Teacher -----(name)---- is being rude/mean/aggressive to me, (give what she was doing and list other things she has done)" and BOOM she gets busted. if she cant do it in class then talk to the principal before, during, or after school one on one.

Well tell your friend to kinda block the other girls view from her sheet. And if that doesn't work then tell the teacher about it. be responsible, I mean your not in 3rd grade or anything.

Mhm, sure it's not you, anyway, you need to tell an adult, and she needs to ask if she can switch seats, btw, I didn't think it was you until you said "IT'S NOT ME"

who ever bullying you friend should be punished he is a tip people are mean all the time there gonna be bullies every were what can you do dont tell on her bully because it gonna make you friend get bullied worser just tell you friend to ignore her i know she gets hurt inside every time but even i you tell on him or her he will keep on doing it no matter what bullies are most likely to get in trouble often> i know you can't stop the bully but try to stick up for her you friend should just try to ignore her the best she can or just walk away if bully followers her tell or ether you friend should keep on walking and act like the bully not behind her that will get the bully so mad he stop . i know what you friend going threw i get bullyied almost eveyday it dose not bother me i just ignore it and the bully shus up

first off let ur friend kno a bully is jus someone crying for help!! she sees the talent ur friend has in she is jus trying to ruin her spirit..bullies are the most vulnerable they concentrate on one thing while a scared person fears alot in concentrate on themselves in how to protect themselves on that note let ur friend kno dust it off her shoulder in keep her head held high....much love

Tell a teacher, and if the situation doesn't improve, alert your parents, or her parents. Also make sure the principal knows

had a similar problem... talk to your friend and try and persuade her into telling a trusted adult or teacher. if she doesn't want to then tell her to act like she is in a whole different universe! like she doesn't even exist! i do that all the time to people who are mean or annoying it most of the time works!

Just tell her to switch her seat with someone more compatible with her, and if the teacher doesn't consider your request then try contacting your course coordinator.
