Light is the fastest thing we know of, but we only know about a tiny portion of the universe. It is possible that there is something else that travels faster than light.

It was a mistake, but you are referring to the neutrino. It turned out that a cable was loose, causing a misreading.

Not in your local space however if you were to consider the stars at the edge of the universe then they are moving away from us at greater then the speed of light due to space between here and there is expanding.

There is a type of communication between mutually paired particles, where if you determine the spin of one of the particles by measurement, the other particle automatically displays the qualities of having an opposite spin. They have determined that this information travels between the distances of the two particles (because they start out usually traveling in opposite directions) much faster than the speed of light. The particles are considered quantumly intertwined.

Yes there is we found a object in the M182 galaxy that is moving 4X the speed of light. we have no clue what it is though.
