With all the issues in New York why is Bloomberg so persistent on sugary drinks?

When will we be care about violence, the extremely poor education where 80% of high school graduates cannot read?

He is a want to be dictator. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. It's just the way liberal politicians are. They run on helping the little people then in doing so they end up hurting those they are supposed to be helping. Take cigarettes. Who are the smokers in this country? Poor people. Who pays the high costs of cigs? The poor. Who were they trying to help with all the taxes? The poor.
