If you want to be able to fall asleep earlier there are a few things you can do to aid yourself. No caffeine or sugary foods/drinks after 4pm. No watching TV once your in bed, turn it off even if you feel "awake". Read a book in bed instead. Reading tends to be relaxing and soothing and doesn't cause the sensory overload that TV does. A cup of chamomile tea (it has no caffeine) is also very relaxing. If these things don't help then their are many all natural supplements that can put you t sleep fairly quickly but please consult with your doctor before starting as there could be potential drug interaction, etc.
Your body and mind is used to the time...in order to change this habit you need about 3 months with continuos training to sleep earlier ...try herbal tea ...is leaving the tv on make you fall asleep? Find out what make you sleep like listen to music or turn off all light and no sound...also is your mind at peace? Are you worrying about things?
