Approximately how much gas would it take to drive from Oregon to Colorado?

I just need to know for future references. I believe the distance between the two is about 1,000 miles.

Report as

Depends on the mpg (miles per gallon) of the vehicle.

Example ... I had a van that got 14 mpg ... so it would take (1000 / 14 = ) 71 gallons ... I drove a Prius that got 50 mpg ... so it would take (1000 / 50 = ) 20 gallons

It would depend on 2 things, where in Oregon to where in Colorado, and how much mpg you're getting

Assuming 20 miles per gallon, maybe about 50 gallons.

Depends on the gas mileage of the car. Figure up the gas mileage, then divide the miles by the gas mileage. That should give you the gallons needed.
