I ALWAYS stretch before bed. It's sort of like a routine for me, and it helps to relax my muscles and to get them ready for another day of dance tomorrow. So yes, it can help relax you! I do my straddle, pike, splits, Russian split, over splits wall splits, butterfly, back stretches and a lot of foot stretches. Let me know below if you need help with any of the above!
I do Yoga. 13 minute routine when I get up. 6 minute routine when I get home. And 5 minute routine before I go to bed. It is the best thing you can do for your body. It keeps you younger longer. Any time that you can reverse your center of gravity It's best for the entire system.
