Do we actually know if the Big Bang actually happened?

Nope. That is why it is called the "Big Bang Theory".

You are all confusing a theory and a hypothesis. A hypothesis is an educated guess , something to be studied and tested via scientific methodology and observation. After a hypothesis has been tested and approved as HIGHLY probable it becomes a theory which is almost a fact. So the Big Bang is a STRONGLY supported theory.

Well, it is a theory, so no one knows for sure if it happened but there is lots of evidence for it like sound waves and how everything in the universe is moving farther apart from each other....Hope this helps.

not exactly most things before humans are kinda guessed at also its called a theory for a reason
