Where did the exodus take place?

Report as

It didn't.

Historians and archaeologists pretty much agree that the Israelites were never in Egypt en masse, much less as slaves; there is also no time period that could possibly correspond to the tale.

The Exodus started in Egypt. The Israelites were to leave Egypt and go to the land of promise according to the bible. It is believed that the Exodus took place in 16th Century BC. Find more details from the following site http://ancienthistory.about.com/od/exodus/f/ExodusDate.htm.

The Hebrews doesn't even exist as a people in the 16th century BCE. They didn't break off from the Canaanite tribes until 1400-1300 BCE.

It is interesting fact that God took( lead by Moses) the Israelites out of slavery. He provided them with clothing that never wore out, they carried every thing with them! So how would there be any archeological evidence!
But there is historical evidence of the 10 Commandments, and written history of the travels of the Ark of the Covenant! And the Jewish Historian
Josephus recorded accurate info of their history in detail!
