You'll be fine if you're doing well now. If you're struggling, however, you should work on it this summer. Keep up with new concepts and never let the teacher get ahead of you. Ask for extra help when it's needed and don't let the teacher ever cop out and tell you to get a tutor. You can check out Kahn Academy online to help you with formulas. Always do your homework! Good luck. You can do it!
It depends on your grades in math in earlier grades. If you have kept at least a C average in math before high school, you will do OK. I taught high school math for 13 yrs, before changing careers for a higher paying job. Good luck.
Nope. it's just putting in the time to do homework (usually its not even alot [ I felt like I was given more HW in 8 & 7th grade than high school.] and they give you time to work in class) and just doing well on tests. *if your not a strong test taker, just make sure you got a good grasp of the reviews you get before tests and study that before and you'll do fine.* OH what I learned is to write things down in your notes if your not sure if you'll remember them or not. its better to have them down then to forgot them on the test (: other than that your fine. DON'T STRESS OUT.. your counselors and teachers will help you! this is coming from a jr. in high school.
