Worked for me for two years. I have Colon Cancer KRAS Wild Type. I had to stop because it causes Peripheral neuropathy. I went on regular chemo for six months afterwards and then a chemo vacation for three months before resuming DCA and adding Vidaza. This kept my tumors stable for a year. I only took DCA and Vidaza for three months and then only took a baby aspirin for nine months. Think the Vidaza kept the tumors from growing for 9 months of that year. Had growth in last three months and had to go back on regular chemo. Will go back on Vidaza and DCA after this six months of Folfiri and Avastin. Will hopefully add venom from puffer fish to control or reverse the neuropathy so I can stay on DCA longer or permanently. DCA never stopped working to keep my tumors stable.
DCA does not work for everybody but it did for me and I have the CT scans to prove it. In the first four months I used it it reduced my tumors 60% and the kept them stable for another 14 months. Nothing for 5 months and the first chemo, Folfiri and Avastin. Could not do Folfax because of the neuropathy DCA caused. Before using DCA I had no chemo. DCA was first thing I used.
I don't know but have you heard of telomerase? Some scientists think the drug will lengthen the ends of telomeres in the body, making you live longer. But the same drug that can cause longer life can also cause cancer. U should google it it's intetesting
