Depends on your starting weight. American College of Sports Medicine suggests 1-2 pounds of weight loss per week for everybody. If the person is "morbidly obese" they can stand to lose more weight; like somebody having Lap Band surgery who loses 80 pounds in 10 weeks.
Set up a weekly goal. 3,500 calories = 1 pound of fat. Take 500 calories out of your body each day (by eating less or moving more) and you will lose 1 pound that week!
