At what age can an American drink alcohol in Canada?

I was told it is now changed to 21, with a US id for bars, clubs etc

18 in some parts of Canada, 19 in other parts. They're not going to discriminate against you because you're from the U,S,

You are not governed by your own laws in another country - you are governed by the laws of the land. Anyone who visits Canada may drink at 18 (or 19 depending on the province).
