At what age can an American drink alcohol in Canada?
I was told it is now changed to 21, with a US id for bars, clubs etc
18 in some parts of Canada, 19 in other parts. They're not going to discriminate against you because you're from the U,S,
I think it goes by provinces, but usually 18 or 19 http://canadaonline.about.com/od/canadianlaw/g/drinkingage.htm
You are not governed by your own laws in another country - you are governed by the laws of the land. Anyone who visits Canada may drink at 18 (or 19 depending on the province).
