Why wont my WiFi not work now and how can i fix it?

well my sister had her friends over and one of her friends laptop connected with our wi-fi and now we need a password to log in. she gave us the password but it wont work either. I NEED WiFi! how do i fix this?

This problem is either incredibly simple or incredibly complicated. Either you're friends laptop cannot connect to the wifi due to something with the laptop, she could be typing it wrong, you could be giving her the wrong code. If none of those, then you're router might be blocking her from connecting. To fix that requires you to open you're default gateway in an internet browser and edit the firewall settings, which is a pain and probably not worth it.

Open Command Prompt, type ipconfig and press enter
Look for Default Gateway and type that into an internet browser
