What is the normal weight for a 13 year old girl that is 5' 6"?

I need to know the average weight, Please help!

All people weigh differently. It doesn't matter how much you weigh, you just need to be healthy.

5'6 should weight somewhere between 125-150 depending on body type. However, if the girl in question also does sports, the weight may be higher from muscle mass but that is ok and safe. It is only the fat weight that becomes an issue. However, 13 year olds may still carry some baby fat that will come off naturally over the next year or two!

Thanks, I'm in softball. I don't really want to put my weight out there but it is close to what you aid so thanks! I feel healthy, sometimes. I do eat a lot of junk food though, maybe I'll just cut back some.

Drop one item of junk food a day and you will drop some pounds with little effort. Since you play sports, your muscles may weigh more. If you feel good and look fit, then you are probably right on target!

I'll try, thank you. I really don't know if I look healthy though, every girl wants to change their body. How can I find out if I'm healthy? Besides a doctor.

Unless you feel sick, or can't do normal things... you are probably fine. Do you go to the bathroom daily (2, not1)...are you eating mostly good foods...do you get lots of activity, etc etc...and I think from what I am reading you do (minus some junk food)...then you are probably in great shape. Unless you don't sleep well, or your energy tanks... then you are most likely healthy as can be! And even us old broads want to change our body...lol..

96? for 5'6" would be a walking skeleton.

Muscle weighs more than fat so if a 5'6" woman is working out and only weighs 96 pounds, she is living at well under 7-12% body fat which is not healthy and can shut down her menses, cause her to be more susceptible to colds and flus, and can cause heart and other organ issues. I have no clue where you get the idea that 96 at that height is healthy because it could lead to death if someone is too skinny. Even a top notch athlete would not maintain that low of a body fat count off season. Champion body builders start 10 weeks prior to competitions to get down that low, then afterwards...they eat. They gain it back because it is healthier than staying too thin for too long.

When I was 13 I was 100 lbs and 5'4.Around 100-130 is right.
