The argument revolves around two different os's therefor it is first of all an argument about the fundamentals around iOS vs android. You must diside which offers what you like more. Android can do things iOS cannot and vise versa. The biggest downfall to android is that it cannot do screenshots like iOS can. By the way I have an iPod but use an HTC phone.
Android phones do screenshots...just touch the power and up keys. I have a Galaxy S3 and I gave my pad away, you don't need an pad with a 5 inch display on your android device unless you just like dragging a lot of stuff around. I'll get the S4 over the Iphone. They are really not that different. I just think one device for everything is more practical.
Here is a comparison of Galaxy S4 vs iPhone 5 - on an Apple fan website. The Galaxy is better by far in every catagory, and the all of the cool extra features aren't even listed. So the question is would you rather use Android or Apple? (I use HTC myself)
