Hi CJ

Hey trouble. How are you?
Report as
I am ok. You?
Report as
I'm okay. Just okay. Lots of things happened this weekend, including a hangover. Which I have tonight. And just trying to "process" stuff.
Report as
Lol.... good luck with that. You've got your water bottle with you, right?
Report as
Yeah, I have 32 ounces of water (with lemon) sitting right next to me. Just can't get myself to drink it.
Report as
How was your weekend? Hopefully better than mine. Be back in fifteen.
Report as
Mine was extremely adequate. Only thing I got accomplished was going to the gym.
Report as
How was the gym?
Report as
It was so so. I tried an elleptical and did better than the treadmill but was exhausted when I got to the gym anyway. I figured doing something was better than doing nothing. Ya know?
Report as
Yes! Elliptical is what I use. I am very prone to shin splints, and the treadmill gives them to me everytime. The elliptical is very comparable to running, except it's not as hard on the joints. Even thou I'm young, it still screws me up when I run on the treadmill. So I just stick with the elliptical. :)
Report as
The elliptical I was on was also capable of being used as a stairmaster as well. Very weird for me. It will take some getting use to but I plan on keeping up with it.
Report as
We have a stair master at our gym, that is so scary. It's like a mini escalator. lol
Report as
This elliptical was able to go from elliptical to stairmaster just by changing your steps. Really cool. We have a stairmaster as well, but I dont like it as well as the other.
Report as
That's very neat. The ellipticals at my gym, all have tons of settings. Including a resistance/hill setting. Which may be similar to what you are talking about. I used a different elliptical on Thursday than I'm used to, and did some resistance/hills. The top resistance on this machine, seriously feels like you are walking (because you can not run) through a really boggy marsh. It was terrible. But burned so many calories!
Report as
Lol... well good then. I might have see if mine does that. I know it has a bunch of different settings.
Report as
I'm sure that it does! I'd love to have one at home!
Report as
Me too... but they are expensive. The kind I am on is anyway.... it even has a tv on it.
Report as
Yes they are. The ones I work out on don't have TVs, but they have built in fans. LOL
Report as
BRB... going after some papaya.
Report as
Yum, grab me some too!
Report as
It is pretty good. We always have a lot of fresh fruit in the house.
Report as
I had a party at my house on Friday night, and made a fruit tray. I'm the only one who eats it so I don't buy much. (otherwise I'd be throwing a lot away).
Report as
Wow. I love fruit. We have a 2 grapefruit trees, a kumquat tree. an orange tree, a pear tree, a papaya tree, and a couple of lemon and lime trees in the yard.
Report as
Oh... and two nectarine trees.
Report as
Wow! Lucky!
Report as
It helps to be in an area where they will grow and produce fruit. I have a feeling we wont get much next season because of a couple of cold freezes this winter.
Report as
Yes you're correct, that does help. LOL. We have apple orchards around here, but not many. And I believe those are the only orchards we have. If you're out on the trace here, you can find wild mulberries, which are DELICIOUS!
Report as
Oh... I have an apple tree too. Forgot about that one.
Report as
Our excess fruit makes wonderful gifts for your friends and family.
Report as
our friends... not yours. even though your friends and family would probably love it too. LOL... I am such the retard.
Report as
Oh I bet so! Nothing like healthy gifts to give! I try to keep things as healthy as possible. I've been retaining water like crazy. And my girlfriend told me to watch my sodium. Well I don't put any seasoning on my food right? So one night at work I was getting my salad ready to eat, and before I put my dressing on, learned it has 530 grams of sodium, so now I eat a salad with no dressing.
Report as
I knew what you meant, and you're not a retard!

Most people get potassium via a healthy diet that is low in sodium and full of fruits and vegetables, however, if you exercise heavily or have high blood pressure, you may need additional potassium in your diet.
1.Bananas
