No, she's just being a parent and looking out for you. A "stalker" has bad intentions while your mother only has good intentions- to look over and protect you.

Uh, no.
I can't even delete my own text messages. She has to read and delete them. Trust me, she just wants the best for you.

Welcome to the wonderful world of parenting....just wait when you become a parent. You will do the exact same thing! She cares about your safety, she believes in trust no one and she's right.

I guess she's being overprotective, maybe she loves you that much so you should be happy
but anyways, you can talk to your mom about how you feel so you would know and understand why she is doing those things :)

I mean, in my opinion.. thats kind of nosey- one of the reasons I moved to my dads was because I had little to no privacy like that. But I guess its really good parenting too. lol

absolutely no....your mom is just protecting you from the possible harm you may encounter... just be thankful because you have a mom who cares for you...and checks out whatever you do...

She loves you enough to care if your under 18 and living at home where she pays the bills. If you over 18, living on your own, paying your own bills, she is an over controlling mom!

It's just this technology that she wants to protect you from. With the texting and such, a teen could have a secret life that gets them into trouble, so she wants to look over that and keep you out of it. It's a good thing, although it must be annoying at times.

well, I think everyone else pretty much has this covered, your mom is just acting like a parent (a novel concept, I know), don't worry too much about it.

No, she's just paranoid, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, I mean look what happens to the children of parents who AREN'T paranoid (they get kidnapped, lost, killed, run over...). You just need to be very patient and understanding. It worked for me.

She is not a stalker. If you don't want her to behave like this you have to prove that you are now... able to understand the world.

No, she just cares so much about u, the only way to stop her, is to make her trust u, and talk with her, express your feelings to her. I said the word "her" too much :D

No. Mom's were sent to protect us and shelter us from negativity and bad people. You'd be in a dumpster somewhere if she wasn't there. But yet you do have Mom's that don't care and let their kids run off doing anything, but your Mom is the type of Mom that is trying to prevent your life from going into a downfall. :P
