Obviously it should pertain to the story in some way. You want to hook the reader, generate some interest without giving away too much. Try to pick a title that makes the casual observer want to know more about what this story is about. Like "Gone in 60 seconds", for example. When I hear this I am immediately intrigued. I want to at least pick up the book and read the back cover to learn what this could mean.
Well, what is the story about? If it is about cats and why they are afraid of dogs then perhaps a title such as, "Why Cats Fear Dogs," would be fitting. Or if you would like to get deeper then maybe wait until you have written far enough along (established some characters, ideas, and objectives) and form a title revalving around these "trademarks".
