How do I lower my blood pressure without drugs

I was currently prescribed Felodipine and I do not like the side effects

Avoid common salt, oils, fats, spices, have simple and light food. go for morning walk, even 1/2 hr in the evening. Keep yourself fit and tension free. Lead normal cool life away from hectic job or travelling. Yoga is also of great help.
