What should I do if my parents tell me to go to bed early, but going to bed early means I can't read my Bible?

The Bible says to listen to your parents, but also to study your Bible.
What do I do?

Read in the morning! Or talk to your parents, I'm sure if that's what your doing, they will let you stay up later, but if you do get permission, actually read your bible and then go to bed. Don't use the study of Gods word as an excuse to stay up late!

Read your bible during the day if you want... You can think about it at night...

Read your Bible earlier in the evening, or in the morning. If you feel you should read it daily, find the time to do so. There is no set hour at which one reads one's Bible.

Read the Bible before you go to sleep and throughout the day. Maybe explain to them your problem and they might have solutions for you.

How sweet you are! God understands everything you are going through. He doesn't care when you read the Bible just as long as you do read it.

Just get a free bible app in your religion and if you're allowed to use your phone/iPod then just read it an that. Just asking, what religion are you? I'm Methodist.

Do as you parents say, find an earlier time to read and study your Bible. It is the 5 commandment of God.

Reading the Bible is important but God is clear that honoring and obeying your parents is very important as well. Its a Commandment. Reading the Bible is not. I rather think God might even be unhappy with you that you use His word as an excuse to disobey your parents. Talk to Him instead. That you can do after lights are out, then get up early enough to read in the morning or during lunchtime or make extra time BEFORE bedtime.
