Some think there is God and Jesus. Some think there is God, Jesus and the Holy Ghost. Some think you can only get to God through Jesus, others directly to God with prayer. I can't think of any who would say God and Jesus are one in the same because the Bible does say Jesus is the son of God. But some Christian sects do seem to place more importance on Christ than God!

No. Jesus and God are two different "beings".
Some do. Others believe him to be the Son of God and others believe him was a prophet.
The only way to see God is through Jesus. Great question!!!???
Jesus is the son of God and when he did on the cross God gave all things to him. he is king and Lord of lords. God is still God but him and Jesus and the Holy spirit are all one which is called the trinity. this is something only God knows there ways are not are ways how we see things he see's it different so we will never understand not while we are still human but all will be reviled when were with him in heaven
yes penicostal believe jesus god an holy ghost are the same. if mary the virgin had jesus by immaculate conception then where did god(his father) come in?? they r the same.
So that she could bear the Child named Jesus!
Read the Bible/ it's great for the soul!
I think god and Jesus one . The father , the son , and the Holy Spirit . That's what I have heard .
Did anyone here read the 'Bible'? It says "In the beginning was the 'word' and the 'word' was with God and the 'word' was God". In the new testament Jesus says "I am 'the word'. So Jesus says he is GOD. Stupid people. Don't even read what you profess to believe.
Read the bible please
Yes. Jesus the Son, God the Father, and the Holy Spirit are one.
Yes He is. The easiest example is an egg. There's the shell, the yolk, and the whites. Each is separate, but all consist of making one single egg. If I might suggest, you might enjoy a book called The Shack. Just keep in mind it's how God chose to communicate Himself to the understanding of one man in particular . It is however a good way to simplify the idea. Hope this helps.
Other times, He prayed out loud to God the Father (while Jesus was still "in skin") so that others could hear Him pray (and teach them how).
I've noticed you've asked that question on almost every comment, Linster. Here's your answer. Blessings to you.
Bible accounts show that God and Jesus are two separate beings. Here are scriptures which back that up:
“Jehovah our God is one Jehovah.”—Deuteronomy 6:4.
“You, whose name is Jehovah, you alone are the Most High over all the earth.”—Psalm 83:18.
“This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ.”—John 17:3.
“God is only one.”—Galatians 3:20.
“The Father is greater than I am.”—John 14:28.
Additionally, when Jesus was baptized God said, “This is my Son, the beloved, whom I have approved.” (Matthew 3:17). Was Jesus talking to himself?!
Also, when God told Mary that she would bear a son, does it make sense that he would impregnate her with Himself and then be delivered as a baby?
Such reasoning does not make sense. However, as John 17:3 brings out, they are two separate individuals.
I hope this answers your question!
We are saying God has 3 jobs(personalities!
You are a man-father- husband!
That is the meaning of God the Father/God the Son/God the Holy Spirit!
Jesus said The Father and I are One!
Now, if Jesus said it himself/ what is there Not to believe?
God says:my ways are higher than your ways/ my thoughts higher that your thoughts. Just BELIEVE IT WHENhe says it man!
NO. The whole premise of Jesus' being god rests upon sheer credulity and interest. The history of Jesus is altogether the works of others. Because, Jesus never claimed himself to be a god, his parents have written nothing, and even his supposed father-god has remained absolutely silent upon the subject. There is not the least of authentic proof of the divine Christ of Christianity.
The four contradictory books, called gospels, only gives us detached anecdotes of Jesus. At first Jesus was a man -- nothing more. Mary was his mother, and the genealogy of his father, Joseph, was given to show that he's of the blood of David. Then the claim was made that he was the son of God, and that his mother was a virgin. Then, suddenly out of the blue, the claim was made that Jesus rose from the dead and that he was Christ and a god.
And, upon what authority are we asked to believe this Christian claim of Jesus' divinity? Somebody, some 1900 years ago, said that somebody else said, that Jesus was God! This is all the evidence we have. Strange!!
The answer from Qur'an, God said:
And (remember) when Allah will say (on the Day of Resurrection): "O Jesus, son of Maryam (Mary)! Did you say unto men: ?Worship me and my mother as two gods besides Allah?? " He will say: "Glory be to You! It was not for me to say what I had no right (to say). Had I said such a thing, You would surely have known it. You know what is in my inner-self though I do not know what is in Yours; truly, You, only You, are the All-Knower of all that is hidden (and unseen).
"Never did I say to them aught except what You (Allah) did command me to say: ?Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord.? And I was a witness over them while I dwelt amongst them, but when You took me up, You were the Watcher over them; and You are a Witness to all things. (This is a great admonition and warning to the Christians of the whole world).
"If You punish them, they are Your slaves, and if You forgive them, verily You, only You, are the All-Mighty, the All-Wise"
I hope this help.
If you are a bible believing Christian
( and thats what a tru Christian IS!)
Then YES Jesus and God AND the
Holy Spirit are all ONE Person with 3
Separate purposes! God WITH us(in the tabernacle/God FOR us ( on Calvary)/God IN us (after Penacost-now- if we are believer).
The question is: "Do Christians believe Jesus to be God?"
As a Christian, I say YES. Every Christian I know believes that.
What better answer can you get but from the very ones you're talking about?
I am a Christian and I believe he is the Son of God
Jesus was a good man and a great prophet. However, he was infinitely greater than the most important man or prophet of any other religion. This is because Jesus Himself actually created and constructed the entire universe, and He is the One holding it altogether (Colossians 1:15-17; John 1:1-3; Hebrews 1:2,3 ). Jesus was, and is, God.
Christianity actually is not so much a religion as it is a relationship with the Sovereign, Almighty God. In all other religions, mankind strives to reach God-to be "good" enough to attain His approval and mercy. Unfortunately, no one ever can be good enough to earn eternal life. In no other religion was God, the Creator of the universe, humiliated, even unto death on a cross. Jesus, God incarnate, humbled Himself to the level of being insulted, flogged, beaten, and ultimately crucified for the sins of the world.

Yes and no. God is the Father. The son. And the Holy Spirit. 3 in one. So Jesus is Jesus but he's also God.
Yes, Jesus is God. There is God the father, God the son, and God the Holy Spirit. Three in one. If you would like, I could elaborate but I would need time to find the scriptures on it.
