How do you get google play on a blackberry playbook

First you need to update the Playbook
Your Blackberry Playbook comes You will have to wait as Developers are the only ones with access to Google Play. Once the new update is released for your Playbook, Blackberry will allow you to browse Google Play and download Android Apps.

Look for the white shopping bag? Maybe it means the Google Play symbol? Here is a picture of the symbol if you need it

That is most likely the exact way it will look on your device.

Again, I don't believe you can just yet. I researched a view reviews and went on Blackberry's website and the only way I saw how was to update your Playbook to the 2.0 Beta version but I have no idea how. I don't have one and Blackberry's website only talked about how developers could use Windows to make apps and test them out.

Reply back because I just figured out how you should be able to get Google Play

One of the branch sites of Blackberry is now saying that the 2.0 is released giving the Playbook support for Android Apps. This means the Google Play store and ability to download and run applications. When did you buy your Playbook?

To get Google play on your blackberry phone, you first need to install the app on the phone. After buying it from the app market, sign in using your Google user name and password. You will then get the notification message that the app has successfully been installed.

Google play is not on Blackberry Playbooks. I found some reasons:
1 loss of control on apps
2 malware
3 apps that wouldn't work correctly on the playbook (for example: Gmail, camera, instagram)

Hope this helps!
