Bronchitis doesn't come and go in a day. Do you mean coughing fits? It's really nothing to worry about if you are seeing a doctor, and you take care of yourself according to directions. But if you feel a change in symptoms, go back again. Most likely, you will get better with time, though.
It may become chronic and you'll have to use an inhaler . I've had it for years and it only bothers me here and there ! I have an AdVair inhaler and it helps your breathing become normal again ! Are you sure it's not a respiratory infection ? If they gave you antibiotics , then it's a respiratory infection . Nothing to be real worried about , just don't ever smoke ! That's how I got it , even after I had quit a long time before .
Twice in how long? I've gotten nearly every Winter for 5yrs & it goes away. If you're getting it continually you may need to ask your doctor what the side effects can be & is there treatment available for chronic bronchitis? Hope you feel better soon :)
