Where can I buy buttons to replace the switch for my pickup selector on a Fender Strat?

Report as

You want to put buttons on instead of a switch, or do you want a new switch? Because trust me, I've watched professionals work on that stuff, and you're going to router out at least 2 holes in your guitar, which will probably ruin it, plus do you even know the circuitry involved to make the buttons work? A switch is purely mechanical.

I want buttons and no switch. I'm anticipating mistakes but I have electrical diagrams and Its an old guitar and I don't mind ruining it for the sake of trying out new mods.

Then I'd just go to Radio Shack and buy the pieces, as I've never seen push buttons for guitars. You could also try DigiKey.com

You can buy them online at http://stores.ebay.com/The-STRATosphere/Fender-Stratocaster-Parts.html, or http://www.grguitars.com/Parts_5Strat%20replmnt.htm. You could also take your guitar to a music store, so that they can figure out the size of the buttons that need replacing, and where to find them.
