Why won't my wireless mouse not work on my laptop? It did before.

Are you able to test your mouse with any other computer to ensure it still works in general? If you aren't able to test it elsewhere, the next best thing would probably be to get new batteries for it to check if that fixes the issue. If that doesn't work, you're probably looking at a dead mouse that will need to be replaced.

Check if the mouse driver is still installed. And of course check the batteries in the mouse. If those check ok - it might be broken.

...You can try calling the company that made it. There is probably a Phone number on it somewhere.

I had the same problem and when I plugged in the device it never showed the icon at the bottom. I tried this on other laptops with the same kind as mine and it worked. Wireless mouse's use to work on my computer but now the don't. How come?

Same is happening on my computer, I looked up 'mouse' on control panel and found some settings. I clicked hardware and my mouse files were right there. I don't know how to configure it though. I hope this helps a bit
