Whats a good lead paragraph of why we shouldn't send people to mars?

We should not send people to the planet Mars because, simply said, there isn't enough information. We do not know enough about Mars to keep people safe, let alone, useful on this strange, vermillion planet. Along with the factor of safety there is also the budget- it would be very expensive and a waste of a lot of government funding that can be sent to more important research.

Paraphrase and edit to your liking. Be sure to add more things because that's pretty vague.

Nice answer. You might mention that the US is a couple of trillion dollars in debt and we need to solve our earthly problems before we go off exploring a dead planet.

*There are many reasons why no one should be sent to mars. Most reasons are for saftey. I believe 100% Mars is not fit for human life because of 1. it has no water. Without water you have nothing. 2nd of all there are no trees so you cant make fire, paper, houses and lots more. Plus where would you live? Another reason would be how hot it is there. You would burn up in a matter of seconds. This is why no human should travel/live on mars!

-----I wasnt sure if you ment like go to mars (astronauts) or live on mars so this paragraph may be wrong sorry if so-------

I'm not gonna give you a paragraph but an idea. A simple one.

Yes, the idea of being the first one to go to Mars is pretty awesome. But the idea of being stuck in a closed space such as a shuttle, staying there for around 150-300 days(time it takes to go there depending still on the speed of the launch). Still you'd get stuck there for so long. Not having anything to do. Yes, exploration will be done. But it'd just be incredibly boring for the better part of the next two years with just you inside a can going to a place where you'll SEE NOTHINGNESS and NO ONE really other than yourself. ULTIMATE TIMEOUT. You can['t complain and you're just really stuck in outer space for the better part of your trip. Good luck with that.
