Sr Janice is pushing her cart(130kg) with acceleration of 9m/s2. If she travels a distance of 72m ,how much work has she done?

Report as

Sr. Janice will have done a total of 91,764 joules of work. To get this, we first convert 130kg in newtons to get 1274.50 newtons. Since work is calculated by multiplying force by distance, we multiply 1274.50 by 72 to get 91,764 joules.

work is F x D, but this is wrong because the work is not in the direction of the force.

"oh no, how could I possibly calculate the time elapsed?". You could but...don't do that... calculate the force, and multiply it by the distance.
