write down all the things you eat. Seeing a list of everything you've eaten can help you determine which ones you should not have eaten and help you to realize how often you do eat those things and it can help to motivate you to not eat them anymore/near as often. Also taking in more protein can help. Like I have stressed several times before, do not focus on losing pounds, focus on feeling good and being healthy. :)
you can go on a no white diet. Which is no carbs, no cheese, anything white that you would eat. Only water. And exercise a lot. Eat small snacks though out the day to stay energized. get at least 8hrs of sleep. Google no white diet for more explanation. I went on it and lost about 12lbs in a month. Plus when you finally eat your birthday cake it will taste even better because you won' be able to eat much dessert.
