There is no equation that explains the science of success because there are new things that are invented and others that repeat themselves in years. For instance, new technology systems are being introduced which explains the success of science and the theories of how the earth came into being is still repeated which still takes them back in research.
Because there is no definition of success. It is highly relative and if an equation existed it would be very complex because success is a complex function of many different probabilities, effort and skill.
Some things have both an art and a science aspect. And success is defined differently by various people. And success in what area? Money, marriage, teaching...all have some common denominator (i.e. hard work), but they may also have some unique factors. And for a Christian, God has His definition of success; and He explains how to obtain it (not surprisingly, hard work shows up there too). Another hint: we are spiritual beings, so success becomes a function of not only art, not only science, but includes a spiritual aspect. I mention this because I have experienced more success in all areas of life when I include things like forgiveness, patience, love, etc.
