Not necessarily the same educational background, but the same smarts are important. It gets frustrating for either party when their sweetie just doesn't understand the things they understand. Some relationships can deal with that stress, others can't.
I don't think , it would matter , as I would imagine , the difference in background , would seem to make things interesting , as one would be eager to learn from the other ( if the chemistry was there) , one iq of 170, could get along fine with an Iq of 130, espically if it remained light and laughter filled, and not hard and cold , And it would Prob compliment , each other , in some ways , ( just because one can draw blueprints, doesn't mean they can also build the house So to speak
Like poles repel and opposite poles attract ..... !!! With same educational background one can enjoy the professional understanding... But if we are talking about Someone special ....then two opposite nature persons make a good company... :)
