PLEASE HELP!! This is a matter of life and death. I need advise, now. How can "Bob" control his anger and depression? (Read description)

Okay, so my friend, "Kate" (I'm using fake names cause it's a long story) is dating my other friend, "Bob". So Kate has been dating Bob for the past year. Kate and I are really close, and Bob is my cousin, and we're really close too. So I have liked this guy, "Tim". So I found out tonight that Kate has gone behind Bob's and my back and has told Tim (while she was dating Bob) that she loved Tim. So Bob got really mad because he's loved her for a really long time and she broke his heart. So now Bob's talking about how he isn't worth anything, and is talking about drinking, dipping, and other stuff he shouldn't be doing at his age.

Please help me. I need your advise. And please don't tell me that I need to "tell a trusted adult" or whatever. I need to know other ways Bob can deal with his anger and depression. Please, give me as many answers as possible. Thank you so much for reading this. You really are changing someone's life. He means a lot to me. Please save him.

God bless you all. Thanks.

distract him and don't talk about his depression. don't scold him or tell him that he is acting bad if he is depressed. just distract him and try to have fun with him so he will gradually come out of the darkness that is eating away at him.

Be there for Bob. Distract him, take him out, find a way to distract him. An adult should always be advised bc if he DOES do something and you failed to alert anyone it is partially your fault.

Tell him to take it as a life lesson that will prepare him for further relationships with other girls she just proved that she wasnt fit for him, as well moping around isnt going to much yes the pain is still there and that he should use it to overcome it and to get over it.
(hope this is useful and hope it aint cheese)
