Scripted, choreographed, performed by skilled stunt 'wrestlers' who practice and rehearse the moves and staging beforehand, etc. Its soap opera for men. All those nasty 'villains' and 'heros' who yell at and threaten each other during a show most likely go get drinks together after work before going home to their real families.
Fake fighting. Real entertainment! Many moves done in WWE would kill someone if it was real. One good one is dropping someone on their head. Those guys are upwards of 250lbs, if they were dropped on their heads, their necks would snap like twigs. What they do is rest their shoulders on their attackers thighs so their heads don't actually hit the mat. You can find all the wrestling secrets online and on YouTube.
Real entertainment that has predetermined results. The wrestles are athletic and in good shape(for the most part). Some of the moves still hurt like hell. I say it's choreographed and staged, not fake.
