I got a tdap shot 1 day ago and my arm hurts badly what should I do I have basketball tomorrow too

Your arm will hurt for a few days and sometimes the pain can be severe. It's very normal. Take a pain reliever such as Tylenol or Ibuprofen. It won't completely take the pain away but it will lessen it.

Along with the motrin/ibuprofen, try doing some arm exercises. Little to no weight, but just work your arm around and loosen up the muscles. This should receive some pain.

Ibuprofen every 4-6 hours with pain. You may wish to take a couple 30 min before basketball as a profalactic.

Try warm compresses and pain killers, as stated above. Good luck to you, when I got mine, the next day my arm was so sore I couldn't lift it over my head :(
