How so i stop my tongue from bleeding?

Okay so i licked a wooden swing set and my tongue is bleeding i am applying pressure and trying to keep my mouth wet any other suggestions

You probably have a splinter in your tongue, get that out as soon as possible then it will stop bleeding in a few minutes and don't lick wood in the future xD

I hate it when my tongue bleeds. Just keep pressure on it. I am not going to laugh or anything but I must ask. Why did you lick a wooden swing set?

Depends on how much it is bleeding. If you are bleeding a lot all over the place then going to see a doctor is always a good choice. If you don't have the money or health care I would continue what you are doing. Be sure that you are using something to put pressure on it that is not just your hand. Use a cloth, paper towel, or long cotton bandages. Make sure that anything that touches the wound is CLEAN. Don't eat anything for a little while. I'm not sure if this is right but I would actually suggest keeping the wound dry so that the blood can clot and form a scab that can seal off the wound.

Licking Wooden Swing? Whaat? Anyway do that things and also ice can help. If that bleeding goes longer than 15 minutes go to hospital but of course you dont have to hurry. You are not an emergency case.

Just let nature take it's course. The bleeding will stop. There's a reason that your tongue is inside your mouth, and protected by strong teeth.
