do you need a special license to administer a rabies shot to your dog?

Anybody can learn how to give vaccines. The reason most states demand veterinarians administer the rabies vaccine is not because its difficult but because they want independent proof that your pet is vaccinated if it comes in contact with a rabid animal, bites someone, etc.

if a dog needs its rabies shots it is said that you have to bring it to the certified vet. But that is where i live i dont know about where you live though.

Hmmm ... Don't know ... Good question, And that question prompts me to wonder ... Who is allowed to be in possession of a rabies vaccine? Because its a vaccine, is that considered a controlled substance. I never really thought about that before .. Now I'm curious.
