Question about manners?

If you see a space you can fit through but it's a small space and there's someone next to the space and you go through the space is it rude? Because someone said to use my manners but I don't see why I have to use my manners but I understand that people like their space so it's appropriate to use manners but I dont.

It means while going through a tight space you say "excuse me or pardon me or coming through". Giving the other people warning that you are moving into their interpersonal space and they can adjust accordingly.

No, i dont think that is rude. But while your coming through you should say.. "Excuse me, im sorry" or something like that so they know your not trying to be rude, you just have to get through.
