How do I get more sleep? It takes me 30 min to 1hr and 30 mins to go to sleep? I don't know why but it takes for ever...

it seems like my energy is drained. plz help because I need my sleep thanks

Read or do something you find boring. Your brain is too active and wants to party while your body is drained and wants the sleep. Meditation helps... so does relaxation apps on your smartphone. You have to dial down your brainwaves.

Turn off all electronics at least 30 minutes before bed, Drink some herbal tea, Sleepy Time or Nighty Night can be found in any grocery store. Also the supplement Melatonin can help. I can only take 1/2 a tablet or I end up with some bizarre, intense dreams.

Maybe if you exercise and do more throughout the day, you'll be more tired by your bedtime.

Okay, I am going to put this out there before anyone tells you to use any type of sleeping pills. They are very bad for you and if you rely on them too much you'll have more issues with sleep. I recommend taking a shower before bed (hot water can make you very drowsy), don't drink/eat any caffeinated substances at least 3 hours before you go to bed, and just concentrate on relaxing every single part of your body one at a time. (Helps with me anyways) Hope these help!
