Why is my brother so annoying? Is it just me being unreasonable?

So, basically my brother is a nuisance, and an abomination. I was sick today and he would come in to my room, all day, to get me to play a video game with him. I said no every time explaining that i was sick. Then, he would go straight to my mom and complain loudly. Also, its always a fight for front (in our car) seat, and tonight (after a LONG time) i finally got it. SO, of course he had to sit on me and fart until I left. Finally, when we got home my brother chased me around the car and shoved me into the door until I opened it,then when i eventually sat down and relaxed, since i was on the other side of the room and my mom faced away from him he concocted a evil plan. That plan? Every time i looked over in that direction he would pull his pants down, and pull them up before my mom saw. Then, he got ME in trouble by saying i was "pointing the middle finger at him" now i am grounded. Is this normal for little siblings to do? Or is he just a jerk?
I am 13 he is 10

Unfortunately ... yeah it's normal :/ There really isn't much you can do either except try to anticipate him so you can minimize the damage. All a part of growing up with siblings. More than likely though as you two get older things will get much better.

it's normal,my little sister almost always gets her way so I do what any logical older-brother would do: outsmart her, you should try to outsmart your little bro too, turn the tables to your favour a little

Sounds like he loves you a lot, to be honest. That's how boys are...weird.

Yeah brother's do that, im the youngest of three and was a complete brat, but I matured much earlier than most (9) so I stopped being a brat at that point. My brother is 19 now and hasn't completely matured so when your brother will mature is random. I hope I helped. :)

Sounds pretty normal to me. I know it is annoying now, but in about 10 years you'll be laughing about it.

Try killing him with kindness. Hug him and tell him how much you love him. He'll back off.

He's just immature. Give him time. He'll grow up (eventually.)

Yes, it is normal. Little brothers are just annoying in general. At a young age, children(especially boys) do not understand how they affect the people around them and cannot feel sympathy for others. You will have to put up with this until your brother becomes older. Of course, there's always a chance that he won't change, but as the older sibling, you can't beat him at his own game. Explain your predicament to your mother. It might not work but it's worth a shot. Remember, he's family and you can't replace your family. Try being nice to him, maybe he will ease up. Patience is a virtue.

Have you read your brother's job description? If not, perhaps you should. It could clear up many of the questions you have about his annoying behavior. If it makes you feel better he probably will write in about you later.
