"The first form of work he did involved working on his aunt and grandmothers farm taking care of the cows that roamed the pastures"

Comma after "farm" or no?

Report as

Yes. Comma after "farm". And if there is more after "roamed the pastures" then add a comma there, too.

Wouldn't it be best to make another sentence after "roamed the pastures"? Rather than another comma? Some how a run on sentence comes to mind- overly lengthy.

Well it could either be like, "The first form of wrld he did involved working on his aunt and grandmother's farm, taking care fo the cows taht roamed the pastures, (blah blah blah/and blah.)" OR "....roamed the pastures. It also involved...." Really it could be either, depending on how many objects are in this list.
