No, sodas are high in calories and sugar, soda will dehydrate you and can cause your sugar intake levels to elevate. Pure spring water in a bottle is the best thing to drink. there are no sugars or calories in pure water. good luck.

how about Gatorade
Most people give up soda during season because the carbonation can dehydrate you. The sugar content isn't much different from powerade or Gatorade but giving soda up could improve your performance.
