Manners in Public: When a couple is being affectionate in a neighborhood bar and grill, when is it OK to tell them to cool it down?
Yesterday afternoon at my favorite neighborhood bar and grill a couple was sitting in back near the pool tables. They progressed from sitting side by side with arms around each other, then kissing, then one sat on the other's lap and they kissed some more. Then they got up, one lay down on the floor, and the other straddled him while kneeling. That's when I walked over and said they needed to cool it down. The couple and a friend of theirs argued that I was out of line and since I wasn't staff it was none of my business. Your insight, please?
