Waffles are a breakfast food you usually find someplace that serves pancakes. They're pretty much pancake batter poured onto a "waffle iron" so they get nice square dents to hold butter and syrup, and they get crunchy on the outside. There are tons of brands of frozen waffles at your grocery store, you can heat them up in the toaster.
They are most likely used at breakfast but not abnormal just to have a waffle as a snack sometime else in the day. They are kind of like a pancake but have these cringes in it (holes). They are also normally round and the color is yellowish. I have never heard of a square waffle but there somewhere in the world - it probably exists. You can toast them, microwave, or put them in a toaster oven and plus there's WAY more possible ways to cook them. Hope I helped. :) :) :) I hope you have an idea of what waffles are like now!! ;)
