How to get rid of hives?

Ok, So every March, I just get attacked by horrific allergies. My nose gets stuffy, my eyes turn bright red, but the worst thing of all is my skin. I get hives on my thighs, arms, neck, and just everywhere. Sometimes even on my face. This really makes me upset since i can't wear shorts, skirts, or even a bathing suit without feeling self conscious. The hives get itchy and are often in patches. I have seen questions about chronic hives, which is when they come and go. Mine are on my skin ALL THE TIME. From about March to september, I have to deal with these hives and i really just need to know how to get rid of them, or at least conceal them. Thanks!

Have you had an allergy test done? I would strongly recommend you see a dermatologist for an allergy test to determine what it is you're reacting to.

For treatment, you could try an antihistamine or steroidal medication. For a more natural treatment, you could look into bee pollen, spirulina, or foicodan supplements, all of which boost your immune system.

There are no guaranteed treatments of hives or means of controlling attacks. It can be difficult to determine appropriate medications since some, like loratadine, need a day or two to build up to effective levels. It is advisable to contact your doctor for proper medication.
