thank you and prayer is a way of my life..

One is very well dedicated to the Lord. Man say that at such a young age, one will surely make it to Heaven. But, one has other ideas . . .
Report as
Um... Why are you referring to yourself in the third person? Or are you referring to sweeterthantea?
Report as
No, one is simply speaking as taught. One would sometimes mean I. Thou speaks differently from others. Originally English many say.
Report as
Ok well good luck with that :D

May grace be with one!

You may want to stop speaking like that. It's very confusing.

That's just teasing, not bullying. I don't see why you'd be ashamed to pray.

No, it is bullying. Has one ever experienced this? Maybe so, but not the way one does. And one will NEVER be ashamed to have faith, never in life.

If those kids were starving, and then found some food, I betcha their first words would be "THANK GOD!"

Yes, but then again, God had them starve for a reason . . .

Perhaps, but it's hypothetical.

I have been "teased" but I wouldn't say bullied. I honestly was a little frazzled but not ashamed. In the end people will respect you if you continue to pray without being ashamed, even the people doing the bullying

But if bullied, and given up life . . . would they feel bad or not. God makes miracles, and takes them away at some point.
Report as
I'm honestly a little confused as to what you just asked lol. Will they feel bad? Hard to say, but if you stick to praying only good things can happen :) Try not to be too "showing" about praying in public places though
Ex. If you walk out to the middle of the cafeteria and open your hands to the heavens and start praying out loud people may think you showing off. So it's good that people know you pray and it's great to do it in school but I think it's best just to bow your head and say a little prayer in your seat without drawing attention to yourself God bless you :D

I never have been nor ever will be ashamed to pray. Luckily my friends have accepted that and respect me enough to not tease or bully.

The Bible is the word of God and is powerful and helps to give the Christian courage and boldness. Boldness is used in the Bible as a measure of faith. The more faith in God the more bold a Christian acts.
Deuteronomy 31:6 "So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you."

I don't eat at school, and I don't pray before I eat.

Then your comment didn't belong in this question. It was only for praying people. You can make your "beliefs" known somewhere when they're asked about. :/

I go to a Christian school, so that's not a problem for me. However, if I were bullied for praying at school, I would not be ashamed.

I definitely have. At first, I felt a bit embarrassed. But as I kept on doing it, I noticed it made others conscious of their lack of prayer. And pretty soon, whenever I looked up from praying, there were others doing so as well. It actually turned out positively. (1 Peter 2:12)

As long as you don't disrupt anyone you should be able to pray quietly before a meal at school. If you make a huge deal out of it some kids might be bothered.

I wonder though if you concern yourself as well with the bullying of nonbelievers, which is sadly more prevalent since Christians are a majority in the US. A year and a half ago a girl in Rhode Island received death threats and threats of rape from students, teachers, and parents for asking her principal to remove an unconstitutional prayer banner from their gym.

Bottom line- bullying is bad no matter why it is done or who it is done to.
