You have a very low body weight for your height. Are you an athlete? Have you ever checked to see what percentage of body fat you have? Also, do you have any anorexia/bullemia issues? You should see a gynecologist. They may put you on birth control pills to regulate your cycle. It is very important that you see a doctor. You are in your key development years for bone development. You don't want to not develop and have osteoporosis or other health issues later in life.

Well my BMi is 18.7 so I'm normal but I don't remember my body fat % I had bulling but I'm over that and doesn't the pill stop ur periods ? But I'm pretty sure I have developed I some curves (chub lol)

The pill will regulate your cycle so that you have regular periods. It is used for many medical issues. A doctor will help put your mind at ease. See a gynecologist.

This all sounds normal. Your period may still be regulating itself, but to be on the safe side you may want to talk to a doctor about it to make sure there are no underlying health issues.

@sincerity, I also advised her to go see a doctor. Did you not read that part? Also, It is perfectly normal for this stuff to happen. I have no idea where you got your information, but it is incorrect. My information comes from personal experience, educating myself, and asking a medical professional. Your must have come from a comic strip.

Hi sweetie... this sounds a little un normal to me so I would see a doctor unless your an athlete. Athletes tend to get their periods a lot less because of how active the are. In fact most Olympians don't get them at all. Hope I could help!

It can take quite a few years for your period to regulate. I wouldnt worry until you are around 19. But if you are really worried, ask your mom, or go to a gynecologist. Better safe than sorry, i guess.

Okay, you're running out of eggs to have a period.LOL jk! I have friends that have their period every two months, and my period usually lasts for 3 days and is very light because I exercise a lot. If you exercise a lot, your period is short and light. I'm not sure why your period only comes only twice a year, but you should consult a doctor, you may have kidney or liver problems...

You need to speak to your mom, you probably should see your doctor to help get you regulated. Some girls that are REALLY underweight don't have a period regularly. Could this be your problem? If not, I would see a doctor.
