Why is it that there are people with criminal records get a job so easy and then there are other people that doesn't have one can't get one?
I have an older brother who has a criminal record. And every time he gets out of prison, he can easily get a job (i think the job that he has now is the same one from before he went to jail. they just hold his position for him). My brother is the type of person who is somewhat ignorant of what is going on around him and doesn't really care how much he gets paid as long as he works the hours and earns the paycheck. He doesn't have a college degree nor does he care to go to school and he thinks his employers won't cheat him out of his money. Recently, he is talking about getting a second job because he is complaining about earning minimum wage. But for me, I have been trying to search for a job for the past few years. In the meantime, I have been going to school. I don't have a criminal record. But I can't seem to get a decent job or even a minimum wage job. If I had to choose between being unemployed or having minimum, I choose minimum wage. It's not the best pay out there, but earning minimum wage means being employed. Is there something wrong with me? Why is it so hard for some people to get a job and so easy for others to get one?
