well i would ask them if everything is ok with them and if not then help them and if the cuts are that bad then i would go to the guidance cousiler if your at school but if your not then an adult would work. but i would help in any case

||~Never get a counsilor, it may seem right, but no, it will not help them, it will feel like you betrayed them, they put their trust in you, don't blow it~||

I would try to help. I'd talk to them and see what's wrong. But in reality you can try helping someone but to make the situation better the other person must want to help themselves too

Minji

I would help them, even if they didn't want help.

Of course. I'd talk to them, then talk to a counselor, or the principal to see what to do

That doesn't matter.
They're well being is all that matters. I would rather them stop cutting than be their friend
Report as
||~You help them, adults will scare them into hiding, do not get adults unless it's VERY suicidal, help them and if there's nothing you can do, tell a counsiler~||
Report as
Last year a lot of my friends started cutting.
Someone reported them and they went to the hospital for over a month, receiving help.
Needless to say, there has been no more problems with cutting.

||~I have friends like that, I didn't tell, another did, they hate him&have no faith in him, lesson learned~||

Like I said before, that shouldn't matter. Who cares if they have faith in him? The only thing that matters is if they got better.
I applaud the other person

||~It actually got worse they felt they could trust no-one, one commited suicide, it does not help~||

||~My friend commited suicide, because she felt like she had no-one, lesson learned, do not betray them~||

You seem to not be paying attention to what I said
The people that got help, more than one, got better. They don't cut anymore. After getting help, they understood that they weren't betrayed, that their friends who turned them in we're the ones who actually cared.
I'm sorry for your lost.
