No, and the reason it isn't, is because I won't be able to make it. Plus...I'm getting damn tired of its always having to be me that brings the coffee and croissants. Why the hell can't people have breakfast first, and we'll have a later meeting?! Mornings, that early, aren't a good time for me, anyway, you know......with a little nip going on the nights before. Just don't go on without me....we'll reschedule. Later in the morning, and once a week. I need my beauty sleep.
Morning meetings are the norm in most firms, and I think they are important. They help check whether everyone is on the same page and outline exactly what is expected of everyone in the wider scheme to accomplish what the firm set out to.
I think it's a waste of company time. I mean come on a morning meeting everyday is just going to end up being redundant. There should be a 1-2 weekly morning meeting's. The first meeting should be to outline what's to happen during the week. Basically, who's doing what, why, when and where. And the second meeting should be a sort of check up to see if there is any problems and check on the results of the 1st meeting.
