that depends, if their treatable but it will take a while, No if their being held in a psych ward for attempted suicide, No but if there is no possible treatment, and their in actual pain rather then depressed, yes I think so
There would have to be strict guidelines set up to make sure the system wasn't abused -- there's too much opportunity for murder to be committed in such circumstances -- but, yes, I think it would be a good thing in extreme cases.
It is God who appoints people to die.? Essentially, assisted suicide is an attempt to deny God his sovereign right to appoint who dies when.? We must be careful not to take into our own hands the right that belongs to God.

My Dad and I found a bird just past the shed on his property. It had been badly injured, its wing barely held on. It was peeping in obvious pain. We took a shovel to the back of its neck and snapped its spine so that it died. Why shouldn't humans show each other an equal level of compassion?
I believe every Human should have the right to decide and make their wishes known As to their choice of Euthanasia. Yes, there need to be guidelines, but it should most definitely be De-criminalized(sp?), and those who choose or are chosen to assist should not be charged with a crime!
