Can women be president?

Just asking because I never seen a woman president IN AMERICA

Report as

Well, it only took 230 years for us to have a president that wasn't "snow white", so based on that, it'll probably be 115 years before a woman takes the position.....so, yes, a woman COULD be president......

Yes, there can the women presidents, just as there could be black presidents, but it's rare. Many women just don't run. Remember 5 years ago, when Hilary Clinton ran for president? Obama beat her, but there would be no law against it if she won.

There's no law against it. PLEASE! We've only recently elected a president who isn't a white male. I assume it will take time before we're going to be ready to elect a woman . Such a shame really.

Which part of that are you considering a shame?
Report as
That's not clear? The part about nit having had a woman as president as of yet.

Was just checking....admit I'm a bit sleepy/slow today... Re-read and see I should've gotten that. :-).

Have you not heard the name Hillary Clinton. Just because she didn't win, doesn't mean she can't run. And someday a woman will run and win.

It took about 100+ years just to get a black president, so no, because it's America.
